If a moment were to
sojourn,
and fight the urge to flee,
would its value heighten?
And how high would that be? 
Is a moment's value fixed,
unchanged by length or time,
or is the value tied within
the size
of the allotted bit?
Many would pay a larger price
to dwell in moments past,
breathing in the instant
that so quickly passed,
but I would not,
extend a moment,
for anything on Earth,
the painful knowledge
that it's passed,
also provides the worth.
