Follow, follow, follow!
Never march alone,
Never stray beyond the path
of what's already known.

Sure, the light looks tempting,
glistening through the trees,
but really it is 
only hiding,
evil you can't see!

Fiendish beings from afar,
who'll steal your life away,
cackling as they trample
over those caught in the fray.

They'll bring horrors,
torments, 
change!
The worst of all their crimes!
Understanding, 
new ideas,
they'll change people's minds!

You mustn't let this epidemic,
corrupt all we hold dear,
for new ideas can quicken,
what's between your ears.

An awful plight, 
for anyone,
for it should stay but hollow,
attempts to spark
critical thought,
will only lead to sorrow!

So stay in line,
avoid the light,
keep hiding in the trees,
it's the only way to avoid corruption,
from these scheming fiends!
